The client’s main ask was to make the presentation as enticing as possible, as it will be used to showcase their solutions to their clients. Several discussions were held in place, where I proposed different design proposals, followed by different design & illustration explorations.
The illustrations were meant to be the visual representation of the content on the different slides, which I had to decipher on my own through reading, understanding and researching on the content.

I was the main designer overseeing the project from start to finish. From meeting with the client to understand their problems and goals, to managing the project, to conceptualising and proposing different creative directions, to creating the designs and illustrations.

The illustrations were meant to be the visual representation of the content on the different slides, which I had to decipher on my own through reading, understanding and researching on the content. It was important to not only understand the complex content, but I had to ensure that they are being represented accurately through the visuals.

Creating visuals and/or illustrations to replace a specific content is tough to achieve but is much more meaningful — it emphasises on the importance of design and how it helps readers.
It takes more than just design to send across a message — it is equally important to understand the context of the project in order for design to do more than just being a “supporting graphic”.
